AMGA’s Rise to Immunize® Campaign Exceeds 18 Million Vaccines
Today, the AMGA Foundation’s Rise to Immunize® (RIZE) campaign announced that participating medical groups and health systems have administered or documented 18.3 million adult vaccines in the first three years of the national initiative.

AMGA Calls on Congress to Stop Medicare Cuts
AMGA today objected to a looming 2.83% cut in the Medicare conversion factor. As finalized in the 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, the cut may force AMGA members to lay off staff and clinicians, further exacerbating patient access to care; not accept new Medicare beneficiaries as patients; and delay investments in social drivers of health.

New AMGA Staffing Survey Reveals Staffing Increases Behind Gains in Productivity
In AMGA’s new 2024 Medical Clinic Staffing Survey, medical groups’ and health systems’ median staffing (on a per-provider basis) is back to pre-COVID levels. The survey also shows that increases in production overshadow any gains in support staffing, and while looking to balance patient demand and physician shortages, medical groups are relying more on advanced practice clinicians (APCs).
