AMGA Presents Congressional Advocacy Award to Crystal Run Healthcare

ORLANDO, FL - AMGA is pleased to announce Crystal Run Healthcare as the recipient of its 2016 Congressional Advocacy Award.  The award, given to a medical group that has significantly advanced AMGA's advocacy agenda on Capitol Hill, was presented to representatives from Crystal Run at a reception during AMGA’s Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.

“Our members from Crystal Run have shown tremendous commitment to bringing medical group issues to the attention of key Members of Congress and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services,” said Chet Speed, J.D., LL.M., AMGA’s Vice President of Public Policy.  “We can always count on them to lead the discussion on how the group practice model is the delivery system best able to provide high-quality, cost-efficient care.”

Crystal Run Healthcare is one of the fastest growing multispecialty group practices in the country, with more than 350 physicians in over 40 medical specialties, in multiple practice locations throughout the Hudson Valley and lower Catskill region of New York.  Crystal Run Healthcare is accredited by The Joint Commission, designated by the NCQA as a level 3 Patient Centered-Medical Home, and was selected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as one of the first 27 Accountable Care Organizations in the nation to participate in the Medicare Shared Savings Program.
