      Our Story

Rise to Immunize® (RIZE) is AMGA Foundation's third National Campaign and aims to empower AMGA medical groups and health systems to collectively administer 30 million vaccines by 2027 through comprehensive and equitable vaccine initiatives. This award-winning campaign focuses on increasing rates of routine immunizations among the adult population to decrease vaccine-preventable disease and death. After initially focusing on four immunizations—pneumococcal, influenza, Td/Tdap, and zoster—RIZE expanded in 2024 to include three new expansion measures— RSV, COVID-19, and hepatitis B.

We have a strong track record of creating National Campaigns that empower AMGA members to improve the quality of care they deliver to their patients.

Our first National Campaign, Measure Up/Pressure Down®, mobilized nearly 150 medical groups and health systems across the nation to achieve the goal of having 80% of their patients with high blood pressure under control by 2016. Over the course of the three-year campaign, participating organizations improved hypertension detection or control for 542,069 patients.

Our second National Campaign, Together 2 Goal®, challenged over 150 medical groups and health systems nationwide to improve care for one million people living with type 2 diabetes. Over the course of the five-year campaign, participating organizations met and exceeded the campaign goal, achieving improved diabetes care for 1,082,000 people.

Additionally, we bring years of experience working with healthcare organizations to tackle adult immunization rates through our Best Practices Learning Collaboratives. Through the Collaboratives that focused on immunization, participating medical groups and health systems documented or administered over five million influenza or pneumococcal vaccines nationwide.
