Creating relationships with your elected officials is crucial to making sure your voice is heard when they are crafting and implementing legislation that will affect your organization. AMGA provides vehicles for you to initiate and maintain those relationships with our support.

This legislative fly-in event allows you the rare opportunity to meet face-to-face with your elected representatives and their staff to discuss the issues that are most important to your medical group or health system. AMGA's skilled policy team will assist in scheduling meetings with the appropriate parties and will brief all participants on relevant issues in advance.

The AMGA Grassroots Network alerts AMGA members of top-of-the-line advocacy opportunities. The program allows AMGA members to send direct messages to members of Congress and their staff on behalf of AMGA issues and legislation supporting them. AMGA policy staff supplies customizable congressional letters and follow-up materials through email alerts, making participation easy.
