      Capitol Hill Day

Be a proponent for the change. Participate in AMGA's Capitol Hill Day and meet with your elected members of Congress to voice your concerns and share the principles that guide our industry.

This legislative fly-in event allows you the rare opportunity to meet face-to-face with your elected representatives and their staff to discuss the issues that are most important to your medical group or health system. AMGA's skilled policy team will assist in scheduling meetings with the appropriate parties and will brief all participants on relevant issues in advance.

      How to Participate

Capitol Hill Day is open only to individuals at AMGA member medical groups and health systems. This event is offered free of charge; however, you will be responsible for your own travel arrangements and expenses. Please note, AMGA will also host the Value Roundtable meeting on June 10, a registration fee applies, and you’re welcome to participate. For more information on Capitol Hill Day, please email Alicia Sawyer, government affairs assistant

AMGA members will meet with their elected officials in Washington, D.C. As with the District Advocacy Program (DAP), AMGA staff will prepare all participants for their Hill meetings in advance with issue briefs as well as a briefing via webinar and another briefing the day of the Hill visits.
