AMGA’s Health Equity Initiative
AMGA is fully committed to tackling health inequities and disparities, and we are determined to equip our member groups with the necessary tools. From research to education, quality collaboratives, conferences, and analytics, health equity and measurement have been integrated into every aspect of AMGA for many years now.
We firmly believe that achieving health equity requires a collective effort from all of us at AMGA. That's why we have established a dedicated Health Equity Team and Steering Committee. Their primary goal is to share best practices, strategies, guides, and tools with our members, enabling them to incorporate health equity into their infrastructure and care models.
At AMGA, we understand the importance of accountability. That's why we have built health equity into our strategic plan, allocated resources and implemented measures to ensure that all our work produces tangible outcomes that make a real impact. We are determined to make a difference and create a healthcare system that is fair and equitable for all.
Our Purpose:
To serve as the indispensable resource for AMGA member organizations to access health equity tools and resources, foster peer–to-peer engagement, and create the infrastructure to address health equity within their workforce, patient populations, and the communities they serve.
