Adult Immunization (AI) Collaborative Groups 2 & 3
The Adult Immunization (AI) Best Practices Learning Collaborative was designed for organizations that strive to improve their adult immunization rates. Working together, the participating groups identified optimal and efficient ways to improve adult immunizations, with a specific focus on pneumococcal and influenza vaccines.
The AI Collaborative program launched in 2015 with a successful pilot program where seven AMGA member medical groups and health systems administered nearly one million vaccines over a 14-month period.
Due to the pilot program’s success, AMGA and Optum, with support from Pfizer launched an expanded program in 2017, which included 39 AMGA member medical groups and health systems.
As part of the Collaborative, participants contributed case studies that summarized their work.
