      Comprehensive Approach to Infant RSV Protection

      {% PageTitle %}
      In July 2026, eight healthcare organizations launched AMGA's Comprehensive Approach to Infant RSV Protection Quality and Innovation Collective (QuIC) with a virtual discussion focused on immunizing infants against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Building on AMGA's earlier RSV Maternal Vaccine Preparedness QuIC, participants from Advocate Health Care, Henry Ford Health, Northwell Health, Sanford Health, Skagit Regional Health, Summit Health, UW Health, and WellSpan Health shared baseline infrastructure and success stories with nirsevimab, including EHR tools, pharmacy collaboration, and expanded Vaccines for Children (VFC) participation. The summary highlights four motivating needs identified by participants: patient education and outreach, clinician and staff education, clinical workflow integration, and reimbursement and financial sustainability. It also captures practical questions about seasonal timing, eligibility, and inventory that will shape the QuIC's November in-person meeting.
