Closing Care Gaps Through Patient Outreach
The May webinar focused on closing care gaps through patient outreach, and featured Andrea Giamalva, MD, medical director, primary care and Jennifer Kuroda, quality improvement manager of UW Health Northern Illinois. Dr. Giamalva is a family physician with special interests in preventative care, chronic conditions, women’s health, and child/adolescent health. Ms. Kuroda has fifteen years of healthcare quality improvement experience and strives to advance patient care, including reducing vaccine-preventable diseases through immunizations. Together, they have been a key part of implementing effective patient outreach interventions to close immunization care gaps among patients at UW Health Northern Illinois.
