      The April campaign webinar focused on the importance of vaccinations in preventing and managing chronic conditions, and featured Alejandro Granillo, MD, an infectious disease specialist from Houston Methodist Physician Organization! Dr. Granillo completed an internal medicine residency at Houston Methodist Hospital and an infectious diseases fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. His clinical interests include antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial stewardship, bacterial and viral infections, HIV/AIDS, infectious meningitis/encephalitis, and opportunistic infections. He focuses on the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases and brings a multidisciplinary approach to achieving patients’ well-being, which includes recommending and providing vaccinations.
